The Highland Singers is a local community choir in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, formed in 1988 by a group of friends wishing to sing Celtic songs. Over the years it has evolved into a four-part harmony choir singing popular and classical songs.
We hold two concerts a year, raising funds for local charities.
Our conductor is John D’Arcy, AOM and accompanist Yvonne D’Arcy, who both give their time voluntarily and have assisted the choir exceptionally with their respective talents.
We practice every week in Berrima and new members are always welcome. An ability to read music is advantageous but not mandatory.
