The Highland Singers is a 4-part SATB choir in the beautiful Southern Highlands that meets from February to December each year. Formed in 1988, the choir is dedicated to bringing delightful music to residents and visitors alike. Over the past 30 years the choir has grown from a small group of friends who enjoyed singing Celtic songs to more than 30 members. The choir's repertoire has also expanded to include songs from musicals, operas and jazz as well as songs and hymns for Christmas. We rehearse every Monday afternoon at the Holy Trinity Church hall in Berrima. Along with two charity fund-raising concerts each year we also visit local nursing homes to entertain residents and staff and bring a smile to their faces. We have a dedicated conductor and a very talented pianist who accompany us.
